About Snowshoe Hare
The Snowshoe Hare lives in the bitter cold of the Arctic. They change color with the seasons. During the summer they are brown. In the winter they turn white except for the tips of their ears which are black. This allows them to easily blend into their environments. When food is plentiful, the population of Snowshoe hares goes up quite a bit. When food is not so plentiful, their numbers drop considerably.
