About Silver-Spotted Skipper
The Silver-Spotted Skipper is a large skipper with orange markings on the forewings and small white eyespots on the forewing tips. This skipper is found in North America. The caterpillar has a reddish-brown head and the body is yellow-green in color with some dark markings. The Silver-Spotted Skipper spends one generation a year in the north temperate zones and two or three generations in the warmer southern regions.
