Sea Pen

About Sea Pen

The Sea Pen was named after a quill pen, which it strongly resembles. The sea pen is not actually one animal, but rather consists of many separate animals called polyps. These polyps use their tentacles to catch food. Some sea pens are more than 5 ft. (1.5m) high. Most, however, are smaller than this. Sea pens are anchored to the seabed.
