Sand Skink

About Sand Skink

The Sand Skink feeds on termites and insects which they hunt by movement. The Sand Skink could possibly be mistaken for a snake because it has a long body and its feet are so small they are sometimes difficult to see. Each of its front feet has one toe and its back feet each have two. They spend most of their life living underground. They do not dig through the sand but instead they wiggle through the sand.
