About Royal Antelope

When fully grown, the Royal Antelope measure only 10 in. (25cm) high at the shoulder and can weigh about the same as a large chicken. This makes it the second smallest hoofed mammal in the world. Male royal antelope have horns but they are tiny, measuring only about an inch (2.5cm) long. This species of antelope does not live in groups, they live by themselves most of the time. If they become startled they will jump away, much like a rabbit. Royal antelope live in thick forests. They eat leaves, fruit and flowers.
