Roe Deer

About Roe Deer

Roe Deer are solitary animals that are not often seen because they feed at night. Roe deer are great jumpers and will jump over fences and walls to get to its food. They live in forests and woodlands, but they also feed in fields. Only the males have antlers, which are short and spiky. In the summer, both the males and females are plain sandy colors, but as their coats grow longer for the winter, the colors darken.
