About Mouse-opossum

There are about 50 species of mouse-like opossums that can be found throughout the nothern region of South America. The mouse-opossum lives in the trees where it spends most of its time. It feeds at night on insects and other small animals. It has very good hearing and eyesight. The females have a simple pouch where their babies grow. When the babies get a little older, they hang on to their mother’s fur.
