Leaf-Tailed Gecko

About Leaf-Tailed Gecko

The Leaf-Tailed Gecko gets its name from its tail that is shaped like a leaf. This, along with its coloring, camouflages this gecko very well in the trees. Its body color looks like moss growing on a tree trunk. Geckos have large eyes that help them see their prey in the darkness. Geckos cannot blink and so they have to use their tongue to clean and moisten their eyes.
