Antelope usually live in grassy areas, but the Klipspringer live in rocky outcrops and cliffs. The klipspringer have small, rubbery hooves that provide them with a very good grip on the rocks. They are very agile and can leap from rock to rock, even standing on ledges that are only a few inches wide. They live in small groups and feed on shrubs that grow among the rocks. Their fur is a gray-brown color and rough. The males have small spiky horns.
