About Howler Monkey
Howler Monkeys are the largest primates in the New World. Their name comes from the loud howling noise they make with their throats. This noise can be heard over 2 miles (3km) away.
Howler Monkeys spend their lives moving slowly from branch to branch in search of leaves, which are their favorite food.
Their are six different types of howler monkeys that live in the rain forests of South America.
