About Gould’s Monitor or Gould’s Goanna

The Gould’s Monitor, or Gould’s Goanna, is usually brown or golden in color. It is the most widespread monitor in Australia. It can use its strong tail to lean against when it stands on its back feet to look for prey. Its head is small. It has large powerful feet that have large claws for tearing apart its prey. Their diet consists of snakes, mammals and other lizards.
