Glass Frog

About Glass Frog

There are about 60 species of glass frogs living in streams in the rain forests of Central and South America. They are called glass frogs because their skin is somewhat see-through and you can see some of their internal organs. They lay their eggs on leaves that overhang pools. When the tadpoles hatch, they drop into the water below.
