Eastern Gray Squirrel
About Eastern Gray Squirrel
The Eastern Gray Squirrel originated in the Eastern United States, but it has been introduced to other parts of the world. They are often seen scurrying around on the ground near trees and bushes. Some squirrels live on the ground, but most often they live in the trees. They eat nuts, seeds and bulbs. These gray squirrels have large bushy tails. In Europe, they have overrun the population of native Eurasian Red Squirrels.
