Cat Roundworm

About Cat Roundworm

Roundworms are threadlike worms with large slender bodies and pointed mouths. The largest type of roundworm, which live in whales, can grow up to 30 ft. (9m) long. However, most are much smaller. The cat roundworm lives in the intestines of cats. It can pass from one cat to another when its eggs are eaten, usually in contaminated soil. The cat roundworm can hatch inside of humans. This is dangerous, so good hygiene is important around pet cats and dogs.
