About Caecilian

Little is known about caecilians because they spend most of their time burrowing underground. They have small eyes and blunt heads, which they use to push through the soil. They hunt for their food by touch. Smaller caecilian eat worm, centipedes and insects, but the bigger ones eat frogs and snakes. Most caecilian have swimming tadpoles, but there are some that give birth to live young.
