About Beluga or White Whale

The Beluga Whale (also known as the White Whale) is the only whale in the world with creamy white skin. They have a rounded head and a beak like mouth with up to 40 teeth. They find their food mostly by echolocation and some sight. Belugas are very social animals. They like to keep in touch with different noises and calls. The females begin to breed when they are seven years old, and have one calf every three years after that. Beluga whales live in the cold northern waters of the world. They feed on fish and crustaceans.
