About African Civet

The African Civet lives in forests and grasslands. They hunt after dark. Though they usually eat fruit, small lizards and rodents, civets are also able to catch and kill young antelope.

The African Civet looks dog-like with a muzzle and a long, bushy tail. They have a very good sense of smell and they mark their territory with their scent.
